Attended Jimmy Choo's new fragrance launch at Orchard Paragon last month, one I was absolutely ecstatic about! Other than the fact that it's JIMMY CHOO, I also had my lovely girls for company that afternoon.

Jiamin! Haven't seen this charmed one since Repetto! <3

I also had the pleasure of sitting down with uber-cool chick, Joy who shared her time elaborating about the inspiration and spine of the perfume to me.

Imagined by Domitille Bertier, Veronique Nyberg and Olivier Polge, one of my favourite noses in the industry! Repetto, F for Fascinating and The Beat are just amongst a few of my most coveted fragrances that he created.

Hence, it's no surprise that I adore EXOTIC as much as all his above creations. A fruity floral perfume based around tiger orchids and patchouli, perfectly balanced by the tart, spicy notes of pink grapefruit and raspberry, EXOTIC leaves an irresistible and sensual imprint of fragrance on the skin.

Tailored to women who are eclectic and edgy, with a natural magnetism and sexiness, She who wears it is a free spirit, going for the bold and pulling off bright colours, iconic prints and exotics materials of Jimmy Choo with elegance.

Even the packaging features a Jimmy Choo classic python print reinterpreted in shades of coral, yellow and chocolate. The EXOTIC bottle comes in a sparkling coral shade, complementing this light, uplifting scent. Perfect for hot summer days in Singapore!

Hi everyone!

My new video is finally up on Youtube! This time, I'm sharing my favourite face masks that has my skin glowing and screaming for more!

I started incorporating different types of face masks into my skincare routine about 4 years ago when I noticed a gradual improvement in my complexion after consistently using them 4-5 times a week.
I have been very religious about my daily mask-pampering ritual since.

I mostly put on my mask(s) in the evening after my bath, and before I apply my usual skincare products. Normally, I would do one mask, but if I feel that my skin needs extra pampering, I would normally use a purifying/detox mask, followed by a hydrating mask.

I'm an oily-combination skin type with ultra-sensitive skin, so I'm cautious and particular when it comes to products that I put onto my face. After experimenting with a myriad of facial masks, I've discovered a handful that has worked miracles on my skin.

Watch the video now:

What's so great about the GlamGlow range is that both the SuperMud and YouthMud doubles as an exfoliator and since I rarely exfoliate my skin anymore, I allow the masks to do it for me. After 10 minutes, I massage my face with lukewarm water and slough away all the toxins and impurities. Blackheads, whiteheads, ANNIHILATED.

Best brightening mask. EVER. My skin radiates light every time I use this mask. Amazing how green tea, some volcanic pumic rock mixed with exquisite Mediterranean mud can do to your skin.

A successor to Laneige's Water Sleeping Pack, the Capsule Sleeping Mask not only hydrates, but also lightens skin tone. This is an overnight mask that I use before I go to bed. Apply all your skincare products before coating the Capsule Sleeping mask over your entire face. My face always feels extra Q and bouncy in the mornings! LIKE BABY! Ok not really but close la. Lol

Price: SGD 59

I only started buying sheet masks on my first trip to Taiwan because I heard they have the best and, since then, I've set off a new kind of mask frenzy and have never looked back. Every trip to Taiwaan or China, I will bound to lug home at least $300 worth of facial sheet masks. I can officially say that I'm never EVER gonna be able to finish the massive pile of boxes I have in my room.

Anyway, this is the most convenient type of masks because most of them don't require any cleansing after you remove it. Just gently pat the essence into the skin and follow up with your usual skincare routine.
I do this as often as 4-5 times a week and if possible, every day. Too much isn't enough.

Of cos', selecting the right type of mask is important, I like the range from 我的心机 for it's clear, translucent and soft fabric. The essence penetrates into my skin thoroughly and the sheet is still soaked with goodness even after leaving it on for 10-15mins. I make full use of every sheet by smearing it all over my body!

Do this frequently and you'll notice that your skin will start to look clearer and more luminous.
I alternate between various mask to target different skin concerns and above are just some of my preferred choices!

Where: SASA
Price: Around $2/pc

This multi-functional mask is the most interesting one by far and helps to restore, stimulate and boost radiance. Conjured with a complex of antioxidant multi-vitamins and beta-carotene that are critical for the production of collagen and proper development of the skin’s natural barrier properties, it works by the foaming action to cleanse the skin while simultaneously flooding it with the oxygen and the fuel required to enhance the energy supply to the skin.

It's remarkable how science works, when I watch the foaming happen within minutes, and leaving my skin looking smooth and radiant every time.

Price: SGD 95

And this time, we're on a new adventure around Sentosa Singapore!

It's the new 2.5hours Segway Tour that includes admission into the Dolphin and Merlion show!

Coolest thing I've rode on this year! The Segway runs on batteries and can go as fast as 12km/hr! Felt like I was speeding the the whole time! Best part of the tour was watching the Dolphin show and Bryan from even had the opportunity to interact with them sea lions! So lucky!

The night ended with an sumptuous feast at Swee Choon followed by KTV at Hotel Rendezvous!

With Andrea, Christabel, Lenne, Amanda and dear Bryan who's behind the camera! :)

Really happy to start my weekend with an amazing bunch of friends I've come to admire and respect. Looking forward to our next #LIFEOFPAI escapade!

La Prairie has long been known to create extravagant skincare products and provide ageless beauty with the fusion of science, art, and luxury. I was honored and excited to attend the launch of their newly released Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Cream & Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil at Seviin Tangs Orchard.

The lovely staff from La Prairie and Luxasia :)

The Loft is uber luxe and exclusive. How I wished I could spend an entire afternoon here to rejuvenate in serenity.

Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil, a hydrating, nurturing dry oil containing a precious blend of pure oils and age-delaying extracts strengthens and fortifies your skin to prevent moisture loss and keep skin supple, emitting a natural, healthy glow.

While the benefits of Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil are plentiful, the most obvious is hydration, as oils help create a seal which locks in moisture on skin.  In addition, the youth-preserving Swiss Ice Crystal Complex helps to provide potent anti-oxidant protection.

How I apply:
  • It can be used AM or PM but I prefer to use it only in the evenings especially because I slept in an air-conditioned environment.
  • After applying my serums, I gently massage the Dry Oil all over my face, neck and décolleté, followed by my moisturiser.
  • Alternatively, you can apply your preferred serum first to clean skin and follow with a blend of 1-2 drops of Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil mixed in with moisturizer of choice; smooth mixture over face, neck and décolleté.
The Dry Oil is light but potent and it also has another surprising benefit! After all, humectants in creams draw water into your skin.  Oils hold water in, so if you use both at the same time, you get the most hydration.

Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Cream offers a nourishing daily moisturizer with extreme benefits, helping the skin adapt to stress, environment and aging.  The modern formulation – an oil-in-water gel-cream – feels rich but immediately penetrates and turns skin to silk as it revitalizes the complexion and works to fortify your skin’s resilience to life’s increasing aging assaults.

Formulated with the best that science and nature have to offer, Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Cream features the youth-preserving Swiss Ice Crystal Complex (comprised of Saxifraga Oppositifolia, Soldanella Alpina and Swiss Snow Algae), which fortifies your skin’s resistance and adaptability to a world of daily skin aging extremes.  In addition, it contains the anti-aging powers of Tissue Guidance Matrix and two plant cell extracts based on stem cell technology to assist with skin renewal, Hyaluronic Acid to deeply moisturize and photo-reflecting agents to help skin glisten.

How I apply:
  • I use this in the evenings as the final step of my skincare routine. Smooth over face and neck after cleansing and toning.
  • For enhanced moisturization and barrier protection, blend a drop or two of Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil with Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Cream.
Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Cream is also an excellent “recovery cream” for stressed skin (a result of dermatological procedures, change in climate or excess traveling).
The age-delaying cream is deeply moisturising but may be too rich for my oily skin-type and would probably be more suited for someone with dry skin or an older age group. However, I highly recommend using the oil as it boosts the efficacy of my moisturisers.

I've never used an oil prior to this, so the Dry Oil is new and refreshing to me. I would have thought it would be too rich and potent for my skin-type but it doesn't feel greasy after long periods of time.

Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil (30ml, SGD500) and Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Cream (50ml, SGD500) are now available at all La Prairie counters.
