Today i wanted to do a short review on a lipstick that i got from Chanel recently! Initially, i intended to get a nude shade but i didn't have much time to try out the shades at the MBS counter and i realised an all beige shade didn't suit my skin tone very well.

So i picked out another colour from the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Collection in Flirt #69 (SGD 46) and fell in love with it!

On the bullet, it definitely looks like a highly pigmented coral shade but when i applied it onto my lips, it turned out more pinkish than peach and wasn't as shimmery as i had expected it to be. It's sheer texture translates into a fresh, youthful look. I could feel the micro glitters when i rub my lips together but i guarantee you they are super hydrating and is quite long lasting (approx. 3 hrs).

Overall, i like this product alot! I have other lipsticks from the Rouge Allure line (which i will be swatching soon) but this one from the Coco Shine series is even more moisturising than the rest. It has a slightly balm-like texture and glides onto the lips easily.  I also like the colour, it's feminine and effortless. The name of this shade is really very apt, it really is very flirty-looking! Even though the shade didn't stay true to the bullet, i'm still giving it a thumbs up!

For a high-end luxury beauty brand, i feel the product justifies its pricing. It's luxurious, sleek packaging and awesome formula speaks for itself.

If Tom Ford's a 10, then this would definitely be a 9!

Hope you guys find this post useful and have a great weekend! :)
