Early this Christmas, myself and four other girlfriends were invited down to Orchard Hotel Singapore to catch their falling snow in action – surrounding their one storey Life-sized Christmas Glass House standing 5m tall and 4m long in the middle of the lobby. It was a great opportunity for us girls to catch up while enveloping ourselves in the festive spirit indulging in an array of dishes, nibbling on cookies and chocolates and sipping on champagne.

I enjoyed trying most of their Christmas Goodies and my favourite ones were the traditional Fruit Cake,   Chocolates, Xmas Cookies and the unusual Plum Pudding! 

If you are absolutely into the Christmas-themed buffets, then head on down to Orchard Café as Executive Chef Andy demonstrates his culinary artistry with an array of dishes created for this festive feasting! Indulge in Live Boston Lobsters, King Crab Legs, Roast Turkey, Champagne Ham with Honey in Onion Raisin Sauce, Paella, Goose with Orange Sauce, Teppanyaki of Seared Foie Gras with Hokkaido Scallops, Grilled Premium Beef Tenderloin with Béarnaise Sauce… the list goes on rotational basis!

Then sweeten up your meal with Gingerbread Crème Brulee, Pandan Coconut Macarons, Jackfruit Pannacotta, Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce, as well as our two new log cake creations this year – Coconut & Pandan Log Cake and “Chocolate Delice” Forest Berries, Biscuit & Caramelised Crispies!
